The Ocean Acidification Community of Practice was initiated in 2018 and is sponsored by the Marine Environmental Observation Prediction and Response (MEOPAR) Network. We are a UN Decade-Endorsed Project under the Ocean Acidification Research for Sustainability (OARS) Programme.

Our overarching goals are to:

• Coordinate across all sectors, disciplines, and regions to share OA expertise and data and increase ocean literacy and OA resource development

• Identify pressing needs for OA research, knowledge, and actions needed in Canada

• Create a collaborative and supportive environment for groups affected by OA
